AMD has finally released the Polaris 10-based RX 480 today. We’ve been waiting for quite some time for any kind of Polaris card to be released. AMD has been teasing us about their next generation improvements to GCN, officially, since December. Today we’ll actually see a hard launch. There’s going to be full availability in retailers with quite a bit of actual stock. They’ve been preparing for this day, and considering the price and performance of this little beast, that’s likely for the good.

As a reminder, the cards will start at $199 for the Radeon RX 480 4GB, and $239 for the Radeon RX 480 8GB.
