Overall we see that AMD is doing quite well. The Fury X is able to tangle with the GTX 1080 and does extremely well at 4K. Due to the slower pace, it’s more than playable at 4K on Fiji. The Titan X Pascal is, of course, still showing its prowess as a 4K GPU. It’s very quick in this game, and asynchronous compute only adds to that lead that it has, though not by a terribly high amount. Overall the game is very well optimized for both GPU manufacturers.
For 1080P we recommend at least an AMD RX 470, though in reality an R9 380X would do very well here as well. Max settings are accessible and playable on nearly any GPU at this resolution.
For 1440P we recommend using at least an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or an AMD RX 480 to enjoy the best experience at the maximum settings.
For 2160P We recommend using at least an NVIDIA GTX 1070 if you want all the options turned on maximum. An AMD R9 Fury X is also very adept at this resolution, though Fiji cards are increasingly rare to find these days.
