Alien Isolation
No list would be complete without a mention of one of this generations better horror games that’s been released. Alien Isolation is an instant hit and now practically an instant classic too. There’s a never ending feeling of dread and terror just around the corner, and though it rarely ever strikes at you, you’ll be on the edge of your seat for what might be the best horror simulator ever created. Jump scares are definitely on the menu here, but they’re so incredibly well done that it’s likely that if you’re not a horror fan, you may enjoy this just for the pure rush it gives you. If you have tried it already, then it may be worth it to try the unofficial VR mode… You’ve been warned, however.
