Last night, Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia’s CEO announced the 1070 and 1080 GPU lines to a crowded room in Austin Texas and to many others streaming the event live online. Today, Zotac have become the first AIB partner to announce a GTX1080 release based on Nvidias reference board design.
The specs for the card are in line with the details provided by Nvidia during their live stream yesterday, so the ZOTAC GTX 1080 will feature Nvidias new 16nm FinFET-based GP104 GPU, 8GB of GDDR5X VRAM clocked to 10GHz, 2560 CUDA cores and GPU clocks of 1607MHz base and 1733MHz boost.
